

Why a Certificate Program?
Today there are nearly a million nonprofit organizations in the United States. All are faced with cutbacks in federal aid, tough changes in tax laws, and heightened competition for corporate contributions. To succeed in this environment fundraising professionals must strengthen and refine their skills UNO's Certificate in Fundraising Management offers a noncredit, comprehensive program in skill upgrading.

Requirements
To earn the UNO Certificate in Fundraising Management you need to complete a total of six courses within five years. At least three courses must be from the core curriculum. There are no prerequisites for these fundraising management courses.

Courses are held from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on two consecutive days. The registration fee of $249 per class and includes materials, lunches and parking.
Register
Register online and process the registration fee through paypal (no account required).
Registration deadline is one week prior to the start of a class. Participants wishing to cancel their registration must contact the CFM office at least one week prior to the first day of the class to avoid being responsible for the registration fee or to receive a refund. Notify us by email (unocfm@unomaha.edu) or phone (402-554-2133).
Classes are subject to cancellation if not enough people register.
Class Location
Classes are held in the CPACS Building (CB 132 B), on the UNO Dodge Campus (see map) at 6001 Dodge Street. Parking instructions and permit will be emailed one week before the class. Late registrants and walks-ins will receive parking instruction on the first day of class.
Classes are canceled when UNO closes due to severe weather conditions. Check UNO's weather announcements at http://emergency.unomaha.edu/weather/, call (402) 554.2255, or listen to KVNO Classical 90.7 FM. Registration fees for classes cancelled due to weather will be refunded.
